Need a Good Book?
BiblioNasium is very similar to Goodreads, but is made for younger readers. Students can keep track of books they read, books they wish to read and how long they read each day. Users can search for books and see what their friends are reading. Teachers and parents can use this site to help motivate children to read. Teachers can set up contests between classes to see who reads more books. There are book challenges that can be sent to students or their parents.
Spaghetti Book Club is a place for kids who love to read and talk about books! It is the largest site of book reviews written and illustrated by kids for kids. The Spaghetti Book Club was created as a way to support and encourage kids' love for reading by giving them an opportunity to connect, on a personal level, with the books they are reading and then share their reactions, thoughts, and opinions with family members, friends, and kids around the world.

Library Goddesses is a site for all ages to explore recommendations and reviews of books by other librarians. You will find wikis and blogs about different genres, including; board books, picture books, fiction for all ages, tweens, graphic novels, and adults. Jump in on the fun and write your own reviews or add a comment for others to read.
Just One more Book is a site for podcasts to promote literacy and children’s books. Listen to authors, illustrators, librarians, and publishers discuss their enthusiasm for literature in interviews and review children’s books. You will find an endless list of categories, authors, and illustrators to listen to. Sign up to the site’s feed to get update notifications or add podcasts to your ipod.
Booktalks Quick and Simple was created by Nancy Keane, a middle school librarian from New Hampshire . You will find a book talker’s blog, book talker’s daily podcasts, and a form to submit your own book talk blog. Books can be found by subject, author, title, and interest level.
